TAWHEED OF LORDSHIP
Tawheed of Lordship is to understand and believe that Allaah is the only one who CREATES, OWNS, and CONTROLS everything.
Allaah is the Only Creator
As for creating, Allaah is the only one who creates anything. Everything other than HIM is created. There is no Creator but Allaah. About this, Allaahu says in the Qur'aan Surah Faatir (35:3):
هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ
"Is there a creator other than Allaah that provides you with provisions (food, drink, etc), from the heavens and earth? There is no god worthy of worship but He."
Still, some people worship others besides Allaah. Allaah asks about those other people who are worshiped (Surah an-Nahl 16:17):
أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخْلُقُ ۗ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
"Is HE Who creates like someone who cannot create? Will you not then remember?"
Allaah is the Only Owner
Part of Tawheed of Lordship is to believe that Allaah is the only one who absolutely owns everything. About His Ownership He says in Surah Al-Mulk (67:1):
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
"Blessed is the one in whose hand is the ownership (of all things), and He is capable of doing all things."
Allaah is the Only Controller
Part of Taweed of Lordship and believing that Allaah is the only loard is to believe the He alone controls and plans everything. He is the only one Who controls and decides what happens with His creation since He owns it. He controls and decides everything in the heavens and the earth just as he says in Surah Al-Araaf (7:54):
أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
"To Him belongs the creation and the command. So Blessed is Allaah, the Lord of All creation."
